When to see a doctor

Seek care if you notice any of the following

  • If you have severe pain in your chest or difficulty breathing, go to your nearest clinic or hospital immediately.
  • If you experience sudden weakness or numbness in your face, arm, or leg, go to your nearest clinic or hospital right away.
  • If you have severe vomiting that lasts for more than 2 days, or if you are unable to keep fluids down, go to your nearest clinic or hospital.
  • If you notice a sudden drop in your urine output or if you are unable to urinate, go to your nearest clinic or hospital as soon as possible.
  • If you have a fever over 38°C (100.4°F) that lasts for more than 3 days, or if you have a fever with chills, go to your nearest clinic or hospital soon.
