Who is this for?
Cyclophosphamide is a strong medicine that works by slowing down or stopping the growth of certain cells in your body, including cancer cells and overactive immune cells.
Alkylates DNA by forming covalent cross-links between DNA strands after hepatic activation to phosphoramide mustard, inhibiting DNA replication and transcription while suppressing B and T lymphocyte proliferation.
Certain types of cancer (like blood cancer/leukaemia, lymphoma, breast cancer), severe lupus, kidney problems caused by autoimmune disease, severe rheumatoid arthritis that has not responded to other treatments
