How do you take Pertuzumab; Trastuzumab?

This is NOT a medicine you take at home by yourself. It is given as an injection under the skin (usually in the thigh) by a trained nurse or doctor at a hospital or cancer treatment centre. The first dose is a larger loading dose (1200 mg/600 mg), and after that you receive a smaller maintenance dose (600 mg/600 mg) every 3 weeks. Each injection takes about 5-8 minutes. It is usually given alongside chemotherapy as directed by your oncologist.

Diarrhoea (running stomach), tiredness and weakness, hair loss, nausea or feeling like vomiting, pain or redness at the injection site
