When to see a doctor

Seek care if you notice any of the following

  • If you have severe pain in your upper right abdomen that does not go away, go to your nearest clinic or hospital immediately.
  • If you notice blood in your urine or stool, go to your nearest clinic or hospital right away.
  • If you feel weak and dizzy, and your skin turns yellow (jaundice), go to your nearest clinic or hospital soon.
  • If you have a fever that lasts for more than 7 days, go to your nearest clinic or hospital soon.
  • If you experience severe vomiting that lasts for more than 2 days, go to your nearest clinic or hospital soon.
