Sofosbuvir/Daclatasvir is a combination of two antiviral medicines that work together to stop the hepatitis C virus from multiplying in your body, helping your liver heal and clearing the virus from your blood.
Inhibits hepatitis C virus (HCV) replication by dual mechanism: sofosbuvir acts as a nucleotide analog inhibiting the viral NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase, while daclatasvir binds to and inhibits the viral NS5A protein, preventing viral RNA replication and virion assembly.

Take one tablet of Sofosbuvir (400mg) and one tablet of Daclatasvir (60mg) together once daily, with or without food. The usual treatment lasts 12 weeks, but your doctor may extend it to 24 weeks depending on your condition. Swallow the tablets whole with water — do not crush or chew them. In Nigeria, you may find this as MyHep DVIR Tablets.
If you miss a dose and it is less than 18 hours late, take it as soon as you remember. If it is more than 18 hours late, skip the missed dose and take the next one at your regular time. Do not take two doses at once to make up for the missed one.
You must complete the full 12 or 24 weeks of treatment even if you feel fine — stopping early means the virus can come back and become harder to treat. Only buy from licensed pharmacies and verified sources, as fake hepatitis C medicines are common in Nigeria. Do not share your medication with another person even if they also have hepatitis C, as their treatment plan may be different.
Do not take with amiodarone (a heart medicine) as it can cause dangerously slow heartbeat. Avoid using with rifampicin (commonly used to treat TB in Nigeria) or St. John's Wort, as these can reduce the effectiveness of the medicine. Avoid alcohol completely during treatment, as it damages the liver and works against your treatment.

Store at room temperature below 30°C in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and humidity. Keep the tablets in their original packaging and far from the reach of children. In hot Nigerian weather, avoid storing medicines in cars or near windows.
