Who is this for?
Sofosbuvir/Velpatasvir is a combination antiviral medicine that works by stopping the hepatitis C virus from multiplying in your body, helping your liver heal and clearing the virus from your blood.
Inhibits hepatitis C virus (HCV) NS5B RNA-dependent RNA polymerase (sofosbuvir) and NS5A protein (velpatasvir), blocking viral replication and preventing the production of infectious HCV particles across all genotypes.

Take one tablet once a day, with or without food, at about the same time each day. The usual course of treatment is 12 weeks — you must complete the full 12-week course even if you feel fine. In Nigeria, you may find it sold as MyHep ALL Tablets.
If you miss a dose and it is less than 18 hours since you were supposed to take it, take it as soon as you remember. If it is more than 18 hours late, skip the missed dose and take your next dose at the usual time. Never take two tablets at once to make up for a missed dose.
Always buy from a licensed pharmacy — do not buy hepatitis C medicines from roadside sellers or unverified online stores, as fake versions are common and dangerous. Complete the full 12-week course even if you feel better; stopping early means the virus may come back. Do not share this medicine with anyone else, even if they also have hepatitis C — they need their own doctor's assessment first.
Do not take with amiodarone (a heart medicine) as it can cause dangerously slow heartbeat. Rifampicin, commonly used for tuberculosis (TB) treatment in Nigeria, can reduce how well this drug works and should not be used together. St. John's wort (a herbal supplement) also reduces its effectiveness and must be avoided. Alcohol should be limited as it can further damage your liver.
