Who is this for?
This is a combination painkiller that contains two medicines — diclofenac sodium (which reduces pain, swelling, and inflammation) and paracetamol (which reduces pain and fever). Together, they work faster and stronger than either one alone.
Inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis to decrease pain, fever, and inflammation (diclofenac); while paracetamol inhibits COX-3 in the central nervous system and modulates endocannabinoid pathways, providing additional analgesic and antipyretic effects with minimal peripheral anti-inflammatory activity.

Adults usually take 1 tablet two or three times a day, after food. Always take it with food or immediately after eating to protect your stomach. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water — do not crush or chew it. Do not take more than 3 tablets in a day unless your doctor says so. Do not use it for more than 5-7 days without seeing a doctor.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember — but only if it is close to when you were supposed to take it. If it is almost time for your next dose, just skip the missed one and continue as normal. Never take two doses at once to make up for the one you missed.
Buy only from licensed pharmacies — brands like Dicloplus, Lofnac Plus, Alfemol, or Mazoka are common in Nigeria, but avoid buying unnamed or repackaged versions from roadside sellers. Do not use this drug for everyday headaches or body pain for weeks on end — long-term use can damage your stomach, liver, and kidneys. If pain continues after 5 days, see a doctor instead of increasing the dose yourself.
Avoid taking with alcohol — alcohol increases the risk of stomach bleeding and liver damage. Do not combine with other painkillers like ibuprofen or aspirin unless a doctor tells you to, as this increases the chance of stomach ulcer. If you are taking blood pressure drugs (like lisinopril or amlodipine), this drug can reduce their effectiveness — inform your doctor.
