This is a combination cream that contains three active ingredients: betamethasone (a steroid that reduces swelling and itching), clotrimazole (an antifungal that kills fungal infections), and gentamicin (an antibiotic that kills bacteria). Together, they treat skin conditions that involve inflammation, fungal infection, and bacterial infection at the same time.

Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected skin area two times a day — morning and night. Gently rub it in. Wash and dry the area before applying. Do not cover the area with a tight bandage unless your doctor says so. Most treatments last 2 to 4 weeks — do not use it longer than your doctor recommends.
If you forget to apply the cream, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next application, skip the missed one and continue as normal. Do not apply double the amount to make up for the missed dose.
Important for antibiotics
Always complete the full course even if you feel better. Stopping early can cause the infection to return and become drug-resistant.
Do not use this cream as a skin-lightening or toning cream — many Nigerians misuse steroid creams for bleaching, which causes serious long-term skin damage. Complete the full course your doctor prescribed even if the rash looks better, otherwise the infection can come back stronger. Buy only from a licensed pharmacy — avoid roadside sellers or open market products as they may be fake or expired.
Avoid using other steroid creams or medicated skin products on the same area at the same time as this can increase side effects. Do not mix with skin-lightening creams or toning lotions — they may contain steroids or harsh chemicals that can react badly. If you are taking any other medication, let your doctor or pharmacist know.

This cream is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding unless a doctor specifically prescribes it, as the steroid component can be absorbed through the skin and may affect your baby.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat — Nigerian weather can be very hot, so avoid leaving it in your car or near a window. Keep the tube tightly closed after use. Store out of reach of children.
