Fexodeep Gel 30 g

Who is this for?

This is a topical pain-relief gel that combines aceclofenac (an anti-inflammatory painkiller), methyl salicylate and menthol (which create a warming and cooling sensation to ease pain), and linseed oil (which helps soothe the skin and improve absorption). It works by reducing swelling and blocking pain signals at the spot where you apply it.

Inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes (aceclofenac) to reduce prostaglandin-mediated pain and inflammation, while menthol and methyl salicylate provide counter-irritant effects through topical nerve stimulation and local vasodilation, and linseed oil enhances skin penetration and provides emollient support.

Is Aceclofenac; safe to take with another drug?

Apply a small amount of gel (about 1-2 inches) to the painful area and gently rub it in 2 to 3 times daily. Do not bandage or wrap the area tightly after applying. Wash your hands after use unless the hands are the area being treated. This is for skin use only — never swallow it.

If you forget to apply the gel at your usual time, just apply it when you remember. If it is almost time for your next application, skip the missed one and continue as normal. Do not apply double the amount to make up for the missed dose.

Avoid using other topical pain-relief creams or gels on the same area at the same time. If you are already taking oral painkillers like ibuprofen or diclofenac, talk to your pharmacist before using this gel as the combined effect may increase side effects. Avoid applying the gel on skin that already has a medicated patch.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat — Nigerian weather can be very hot, so avoid leaving it inside a car or near a window. Keep the tube tightly closed after use and keep it out of reach of children.
