This is a combination cough medicine that contains four active ingredients working together — Salbutamol opens up your airways to help you breathe easier, Bromhexine and Guaifenesin help break down and loosen thick phlegm so you can cough it out more easily, and Menthol gives a cooling, soothing feeling in your throat and chest.

Adults should take 10ml (two medicine spoons) three times a day. You can take it with or without food. Shake the bottle well before each use. If your cough does not improve after 5-7 days, see a doctor.
If you forget a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, just skip the missed one and continue as normal. Do not take a double dose to make up for it.
Always buy from a reputable pharmacy — avoid roadside sellers or open market medicine, as syrups can easily go bad in heat or may be fake. If your cough lasts more than one week or you start coughing blood, stop the syrup and see a doctor immediately. Do not use this syrup together with another cough medicine without asking your pharmacist first.
Avoid taking this syrup with other cough suppressants (the type that stops you from coughing) as you need to be able to cough out the loosened phlegm. Be careful if you are already taking drugs for asthma or high blood pressure, as Salbutamol can affect your heart rate. Avoid drinking alcohol while using this medicine as it can make side effects like dizziness worse.
