When to see a doctor
Seek care if you notice any of the following
- You have difficulty breathing or feel like you're choking.
- You have a severe headache or stiff neck that lasts for more than 24 hours.
- You have a fever that lasts for more than 3 days or reaches a temperature of 38.5°C or higher.
- You have blood in your mucus or cough up yellow or green mucus that smells bad.
- You feel weak, dizzy, or experience chest pain that gets worse when you breathe in.
