Who is this for?
This is a combination medicine that contains three active ingredients: paracetamol (a painkiller and fever reducer), pseudoephedrine (a decongestant that opens up blocked nose), and dextromethorphan (a cough suppressant that calms dry cough). Together, they work to relieve multiple cold and flu symptoms at the same time.
Inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes reducing prostaglandin synthesis to alleviate pain, fever, and inflammation; activates α-adrenergic receptors causing nasal vasoconstriction to relieve congestion; and suppresses the cough reflex by depressing the medullary cough centre through NMDA receptor antagonism.

Since this medicine is taken only when you have symptoms, there is no strict schedule. If you forget a dose, just take it when you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Never take a double dose to make up for it.
Do not combine this with other cold and flu medicines, as many of them already contain paracetamol, and taking too much paracetamol can seriously damage your liver. Buy only from registered pharmacies, not roadside vendors, to make sure you are getting genuine medicine. If your symptoms do not improve after 5 to 7 days or get worse, please see a doctor, as it may not just be ordinary cold.
Do not take with alcohol, as it increases the risk of liver damage from paracetamol and makes drowsiness much worse. Do not combine with other paracetamol-containing medicines like Procold or Combiflam, as this can lead to paracetamol overdose. Avoid taking with MAO inhibitors or other decongestant medicines as this can dangerously raise your blood pressure.
