This is a combination cold and flu medicine that contains four active ingredients working together: Paracetamol reduces fever and pain, Pseudoephedrine clears blocked nose, Chlorphenamine stops sneezing and runny nose, and Dextromethorphan calms down cough. You may know it as Flu-Cof Tablets or Tuxil Day & Night Capsule.
Inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes reducing prostaglandin synthesis to alleviate pain, fever, and inflammation; blocks α-adrenergic receptors in nasal vasculature causing vasoconstriction and reducing congestion; antagonizes H1 histamine receptors to suppress allergic symptoms; and inhibits the cough reflex centre in the medulla via sigma-1 receptor agonism and monoamine reuptake inhibition.

Since this medicine is taken only when you have symptoms, there is no strict schedule. If you forget a dose, simply take it when you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and never double up to catch up.
This medicine can make you very drowsy, so avoid driving okada, keke, or car after taking it, especially the night dose. Do not combine it with other cold and flu medicines from the chemist, as many of them already contain paracetamol and you could accidentally overdose. Buy only from a licensed pharmacy, not roadside vendors, to make sure you are getting genuine medicine.
Do not drink alcohol while taking this medicine, as it will make the drowsiness much worse and can damage your liver when combined with paracetamol. Avoid taking other paracetamol-containing drugs like Tylenol or Combiflam at the same time to prevent liver damage from overdose. Do not use with other cough medicines or antihistamines as they may contain similar ingredients.
