This is a combination drug that contains paracetamol (a painkiller and fever reducer) and diphenhydramine (an antihistamine that helps you sleep and relieves allergies). Paracetamol works by blocking pain signals in the brain, while diphenhydramine reduces allergic reactions and causes drowsiness to help you rest at night.

For adults, take 1-2 caplets or tablets at bedtime with a glass of water. This combination is mainly for night-time use because the diphenhydramine will make you feel sleepy. Do not take more than the recommended dose. You can take it with or without food, but taking it with a little food can help if it upsets your stomach.
Since this drug is usually taken only at night when you have symptoms, there is no strict dosing schedule. If you forget to take it at bedtime, skip it rather than taking it in the middle of the night or morning — it will make you drowsy during the day. Take it the next night if you still need it.
Do not drive, operate machinery, or do anything requiring alertness after taking this drug — it will make you very sleepy. Buy only from reputable pharmacies and check the expiry date, especially for brands like Emzor Para Night, Bioramol Night, or Novadex Night Caplet — avoid roadside sellers. Do not take more than the recommended dose of paracetamol (no more than 4g per day from all sources combined) to protect your liver.
Do not drink alcohol while taking this drug — alcohol increases drowsiness and raises the risk of liver damage from paracetamol. Avoid taking other paracetamol-containing products (like Boska, Procold, or Combiflam) at the same time to prevent overdose. Do not combine with other drowsy-making drugs like chlorpheniramine, promethazine, or sleeping tablets, as it can cause extreme drowsiness.
