Adults should take 1 to 2 tablets every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain or fever. Do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours. You can take it with or without food, but taking it with a little food or water can help settle your stomach. Swallow whole with a full glass of water.
Since this drug is taken only when you have pain or fever, there is no strict schedule. Simply take your next dose when you need it, but make sure you wait at least 4 hours between doses. Never double up to make up for a missed dose.
Do not combine with other paracetamol-containing products — many Nigerian cold, flu, and pain drugs already contain paracetamol, and taking too much can damage your liver without you realising. Buy only from licensed pharmacies and look for trusted brands like Forpain, Buskakris, Exadon, or Bioramol Extra — avoid buying loose tablets from roadside sellers or bus hawkers. If your pain or fever does not improve after 3 days, see a doctor — it could be malaria, typhoid, or something that needs proper diagnosis.
Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this drug — alcohol and paracetamol together can seriously damage your liver. Be careful with other medicines that contain paracetamol (like cold and flu remedies) so you don't accidentally take too much. Caffeine in coffee, tea, kola nut, or energy drinks can add up and make you feel shaky or unable to sleep.
