Ofloxacin/Ornidazole is a combination of two medicines — Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria, while Ornidazole fights infections caused by tiny organisms called parasites and anaerobic bacteria (germs that grow without oxygen). Together, they tackle mixed infections more effectively than either one alone.
Inhibits bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV (ofloxacin), preventing DNA replication and transcription, while disrupting anaerobic protozoal and bacterial DNA through nitro radical formation (ornidazole), effectively targeting aerobic bacteria and anaerobic organisms simultaneously.

For adults, the usual dose is one tablet (Ofloxacin 200mg + Ornidazole 500mg) taken twice daily — morning and evening. Take it with or after food to reduce stomach upset. Swallow with a full glass of water. Complete the full course your doctor or pharmacist prescribed, usually 5 to 7 days, even if you start feeling better.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Do not take two tablets at once to make up for it.

Be cautious if you are taking blood thinners like warfarin, as this drug can increase their effect.
