Ofloxacin/Ornidazole is a combination of two medicines — Ofloxacin is an antibiotic that kills bacteria, while Ornidazole fights infections caused by tiny organisms called parasites and anaerobic bacteria (germs that grow without oxygen). Together, they tackle mixed infections more effectively than either one alone.

For adults, the usual dose is one tablet (Ofloxacin 200mg + Ornidazole 500mg) taken twice daily — morning and evening. Take it with or after food to reduce stomach upset. Swallow with a full glass of water. Complete the full course your doctor or pharmacist prescribed, usually 5 to 7 days, even if you start feeling better.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Do not take two tablets at once to make up for it.

Do not drink alcohol while taking this drug — Ornidazole reacts badly with alcohol and can cause severe nausea, vomiting, and stomach cramps. Avoid taking antacids (like aluminum or magnesium-containing drugs) at the same time as this tablet, as they reduce its effectiveness — space them at least 2 hours apart. Be cautious if you are taking blood thinners like warfarin, as this drug can increase their effect.
