This is a combination medicine containing two active ingredients — dutasteride and tamsulosin. Dutasteride works by shrinking an enlarged prostate gland over time, while tamsulosin relaxes the muscles around the prostate and bladder neck so urine can flow more easily.

Take one capsule once daily, about 30 minutes after the same meal each day. Swallow the capsule whole — do not chew, crush, or open it, as the contents can irritate your mouth and throat. In Nigeria, this is available as brands like Tamduster, Tamsudart, Flowel Plus, and Co-Strimax. It may take several months before you notice the full benefit, so keep taking it even if you do not feel immediate improvement.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Do not take two capsules at once to make up for a missed dose.
Always buy from a licensed pharmacy — avoid buying from roadside sellers or unverified online shops, as fake prostate medicines are common in Nigeria. Do not share this medication with others even if they have similar symptoms.
