Who is this for?
This is a combination medicine containing two active ingredients: dutasteride and tamsulosin. Dutasteride works by shrinking an enlarged prostate gland over time, while tamsulosin relaxes the muscles around the prostate and bladder neck so urine can flow more easily.
Inhibits type I and II 5-alpha reductase enzymes, reducing conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone and decreasing prostate volume, while blocking alpha-1A adrenergic receptors to relax prostatic smooth muscle and improve urinary flow.
Enlarged prostate (also called BPH, when the prostate gland swells and makes it hard to urinate), difficulty passing urine, weak urine stream, frequent urination especially at night
