Labdic Relief Gel

Who is this for?

This is a topical pain-relief gel or cream that combines three active ingredients — diclofenac (which reduces pain and swelling), methyl salicylate (which creates a warming sensation to ease muscle pain), and menthol (which gives a cooling feeling that soothes the painful area). It works by being absorbed through the skin directly at the spot where you feel pain.

Is Diclofenac safe to take with another drug?

Apply a thin layer of the gel or cream to the painful area and gently rub it in 3 to 4 times a day. Do not use more than what is needed to cover the affected area. Wash your hands thoroughly after applying unless your hands are the area being treated. Do not cover the area with a tight bandage after application.

Since this is applied only when you feel pain, there is no strict schedule. If you forget to apply it, simply apply it when you remember. Do not double the amount to make up for a missed application.

Do not use this gel at the same time as other topical pain-relief products (like other rubs or balms such as aboniki balm or hot creams) on the same area, as it can cause severe skin irritation. If you are already taking oral blood-thinning drugs like warfarin or aspirin, consult your doctor before using this product as it may increase the risk of bleeding. Avoid applying it together with other diclofenac products, whether oral tablets or other creams.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat — Nigerian weather can be very hot, so avoid leaving it in your car or near a window. Keep the tube tightly closed after use and store it where children cannot reach it.
