How to take this drug

Adults should dissolve one lozenge slowly in the mouth every 2 to 3 hours as needed. Do not chew or swallow it whole — let it dissolve on its own. You can take up to 12 lozenges in 24 hours. No need to take with food.

What if I Miss a Dose?

Since this is taken only when you feel throat pain or discomfort, there is no strict schedule. Simply take the next lozenge when you need it — do not double up.

What to watch out for

Buy only from reputable pharmacies — do not purchase from roadside vendors as fake Strepsils products circulate in Nigeria. If your sore throat does not improve after 3 days or gets worse, see a doctor as you may need antibiotics.
