Tadalafil is a medicine that relaxes blood vessels and increases blood flow to certain parts of the body, especially the penis, helping men achieve and maintain an erection when sexually aroused.

For erectile dysfunction, the usual dose is one 10 mg or 20 mg tablet taken at least 30 minutes before sexual activity — it can work for up to 36 hours, which is why some people call it the 'weekend pill'. You can take it with or without food. Do not take more than one tablet in 24 hours. For daily use (e.g. if you also have prostate problems), a lower dose of 5 mg once daily is sometimes prescribed. Follow your doctor's specific instructions.
If you take tadalafil only when needed before sexual activity, there is no regular dose to miss. If you are on a daily dose and you forget, take it as soon as you remember — but if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as normal. Never take two tablets at once.
Buy only from reputable pharmacies — brands like Cialis, Afrifil, Megalis, Edsave, and Signature Veekend are available in Nigeria, but many fake versions are sold by roadside vendors and online sellers. Do not combine with other erectile dysfunction drugs like sildenafil (Viagra) or herbal 'manpower' mixtures as this can be very dangerous. Always consult a doctor before using, especially if you have heart problems, high blood pressure, or diabetes.
Do NOT take tadalafil with nitrate medicines (like isosorbide or glyceryl trinitrate used for chest pain/heart problems) as the combination can cause a dangerous drop in blood pressure. Avoid drinking too much alcohol as it can increase side effects like dizziness and low blood pressure. Be cautious if you are taking blood pressure medicines, as tadalafil can further lower your blood pressure.
