How it works

How to take this drug
Take one tablet (usually 5 mg) once daily, with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water — do not crush or chew it. Your doctor may increase your dose to 10 mg once daily if 5 mg is not working well enough.
What if I Miss a Dose?
If you miss a dose, skip it and take your next dose at the usual time the next day. Do not take two tablets together to make up for a missed dose.
What to watch out for
This is a prescription medicine — do not buy it from roadside vendors or take someone else's tablets. Drink enough water throughout the day, especially in hot Nigerian weather, as this drug can reduce sweating and increase your risk of overheating. Report any difficulty urinating to your doctor immediately.

Drug Interactions
Avoid taking with ketoconazole (antifungal) as it can increase solifenacin levels dangerously. Be cautious with other medicines that cause dry mouth or constipation such as some antihistamines. Alcohol can increase dizziness and drowsiness when combined with this drug.
