This is a combination medicine that contains three active ingredients: paracetamol (a painkiller and fever reducer), phenylephrine (a nasal decongestant that unblocks your stuffy nose), and chlorphenamine (an antihistamine that stops sneezing, runny nose, and watery eyes). Together, they work to relieve cold and flu symptoms.
Inhibits COX-1 and COX-2 enzymes to reduce prostaglandin synthesis, thereby decreasing fever, pain, and inflammation; activates α1-adrenergic receptors to cause vasoconstriction and nasal decongestion; blocks H1 histamine receptors to reduce allergic symptoms including sneezing, rhinorrhoea, and lacrimation.
