Frejesic Cream

Who is this for?

This is a topical pain-relieving cream or ointment that combines methyl salicylate, menthol, eucalyptus oil, and turpentine oil — these ingredients work together by creating a warming and cooling sensation on the skin that helps distract from pain and improves blood flow to the affected area.

Activates TRPM8 and TRPA1 cold-sensing receptors (menthol and eucalyptus oil) and inhibits COX enzymes (methyl salicylate), producing counter-irritation through local vasodilation, increased blood flow, and reduced prostaglandin-mediated pain signaling in affected tissues.

Is Methyl safe to take with another drug?

Apply a small amount of the cream (like Frejesic Cream) to the painful area and gently rub it in 2 to 3 times daily. Do not bandage tightly over it. Wash your hands well after applying unless you are treating your hands.

Since this is used as needed for pain, there is no strict schedule. Simply apply it when you remember or when the pain returns. Do not apply extra to make up for a missed application.

Do not use this cream together with other pain-relieving creams, balms, or patches on the same area as this can cause serious skin irritation or burns. Avoid using alongside blood-thinning drugs like warfarin, as methyl salicylate can be absorbed through the skin and increase bleeding risk. Do not apply heating pads over the cream.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat — Nigerian heat can affect the cream's quality. Keep the cap tightly closed and store far from the reach of children.
