Adults should take 200mg to 400mg every 4 hours, or as directed on the pack. You can take it with or without food, but drink plenty of water alongside — water helps the drug work better by loosening the mucus even more. Do not take more than 2,400mg in one day.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue as normal. Do not double up.
