How to take this drug

Adults usually take 250 mg to 500 mg (one capsule) four times a day, every 6 hours. Take it on an empty stomach — at least 30 minutes before food or 2 hours after eating, as food reduces how well it works. Swallow with a full glass of water and complete the entire course your doctor prescribed, even if you feel better.

What if I Miss a Dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for it.

Always complete the full course even if you feel better. Stopping early can cause the infection to return and become drug-resistant.

Methotrexate levels can increase dangerously if taken together — always tell your doctor all the medicines you are using.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat — Nigeria's hot weather can spoil medicines fast. Keep the suspension in a refrigerator after mixing and use within 7–14 days as directed on the label. Always keep out of reach of children.
