This is a combination supplement containing iron (ferrous fumarate), folic acid, and vitamin B12 that works together to help your body build healthy red blood cells and treat or prevent anaemia (low blood level).

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it's almost time for your next dose, just skip the missed one and continue as normal. Do not take two capsules at once to make up for it.
Buy only from reputable pharmacies and look for trusted brands like Ferrodan Plus or Ironmax; avoid buying blood tonics from roadside sellers or unregistered shops. Do not take more than the recommended dose thinking it will build your blood faster, as too much iron can be harmful. If your symptoms do not improve after a few weeks of use, see a doctor for a proper blood test.
Do not take this supplement at the same time as antacids (like aluminium or magnesium hydroxide) or calcium tablets, as they reduce iron absorption; space them at least 2 hours apart. Tea, coffee, and milk can also reduce how well your body absorbs the iron, so avoid taking them together. If you are taking antibiotics like tetracycline or ciprofloxacin, take them at least 2 hours before or after this supplement.

Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and heat, as Nigerian weather can be very hot, so avoid leaving it in your car or near windows. Keep the container tightly closed and far from the reach of children, as iron overdose in children can be very dangerous.
