How to take this drug

Take one tablet once a day, with or without food. For arthritis and chronic pain, the usual dose is 60 mg or 90 mg once daily. For acute gout pain, take 120 mg once daily but only for a maximum of 8 days. Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not exceed one tablet per day.

What if I Miss a Dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Never take two tablets at once to make up for the missed dose.

What to watch out for

Buy only from licensed pharmacies — brands like Etoget and Etrobax are registered in Nigeria, so avoid unbranded versions from roadside sellers. Do not use this drug for long periods without your doctor's supervision, as it can affect your heart and stomach. If you have high blood pressure, check your BP regularly while on this medication.

Drug Interactions

If you are on blood pressure medication (like lisinopril or amlodipine), etoricoxib can reduce their effect, so monitor your BP regularly. Avoid alcohol as it increases the risk of stomach problems and liver damage.

Pregnancy & Breastfeeding Warning
