This is a combination drug containing three active ingredients: ephedrine (which opens up the airways), theophylline (which relaxes the muscles around the airways to help you breathe easier), and chlorphenamine (an antihistamine that reduces allergic reactions like sneezing and runny nose). Together, they work to relieve breathing difficulties caused by asthma and allergies.
Activates β2-adrenergic receptors to relax bronchial smooth muscle and increase airway diameter, while inhibiting phosphodiesterase to elevate cAMP levels, promoting bronchodilation; simultaneously blocks H1 histamine receptors to reduce allergic inflammation and bronchoconstriction.
