This is a combination medicine containing ephedrine (which opens up narrowed airways and relieves nasal congestion) and theophylline (which relaxes the muscles around your airways to help you breathe easier). Together, they work to improve airflow to your lungs.
Activates β2-adrenergic receptors (ephedrine) causing bronchial smooth muscle relaxation and increasing heart rate and blood pressure, while inhibiting phosphodiesterase enzymes (theophylline) to elevate intracellular cAMP levels, further promoting bronchodilation and reducing airway inflammation.
