Domperidone is a medicine that helps stop nausea and vomiting by blocking certain signals in your brain and speeding up the movement of food through your stomach so it doesn't sit there and make you feel sick.

Take 1 tablet (10 mg) up to 3 times a day, about 15 to 30 minutes before meals. Swallow with water. Do not take more than 3 tablets (30 mg) in a day. Try not to use it for more than 7 days unless your doctor says so. You can find it as Motilium 10 mg in most pharmacies.
If you miss a dose, just skip it and take the next one at the usual time before your next meal. Do not take two doses at once to make up for it.
Do not use domperidone for more than one week without a doctor's advice — long-term use can affect your heart. Buy only from a registered pharmacy, not roadside sellers, to make sure you are getting genuine Motilium or a quality generic. If your vomiting does not improve after a few days, see a doctor — it could be a sign of something more serious.
Avoid taking domperidone with ketoconazole (antifungal) or erythromycin (antibiotic) as the combination can cause dangerous heart rhythm problems. Avoid alcohol as it can worsen nausea and increase drowsiness. Also be careful if you are taking heart medications — inform your doctor or pharmacist.
