How to take this drug
Apply a thin layer of the cream or lotion to the affected skin area 2 to 3 times daily. Gently rub it in until it is absorbed. Wash and dry the area before applying. Do not cover with tight bandages unless your doctor tells you to. Most treatments last 2 to 4 weeks — do not use for longer than your doctor recommends.
What if I Miss a Dose?
If you forget to apply it, use it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next application, just skip the missed one and continue as normal. Do not apply double the amount to make up for it.
Important for antibiotics
Always complete the full course even if you feel better. Stopping early can cause the infection to return and become drug-resistant.
What to watch out for
Do not use this cream to bleach or lighten your skin — many Nigerians misuse steroid creams for toning, which causes serious long-term skin damage. Complete the full course of treatment even if the rash looks better, to prevent the infection from coming back.
