Alfuzosin (sold as Flotral in Nigeria) is a medicine that relaxes the muscles around the prostate gland and the opening of the bladder, making it easier for men to urinate.

Take one 10mg extended-release tablet once daily, immediately after the same meal each day (usually dinner). Swallow the tablet whole — do not crush, chew, or break it. Taking it with food helps your body absorb it properly.
If you miss a dose, skip it and take your next dose at the usual time with your meal. Do not take two tablets at once to make up for the missed one.
Be careful when standing up quickly — this drug can make you dizzy or faint, especially during the first few days. Do not share this medicine with others even if they have similar symptoms — it is a prescription drug meant specifically for you.
