When to see a doctor
Seek care if you notice any of the following
- If you vomit blood or have black, tarry stools, go to your nearest clinic or hospital immediately.
- If you have severe pain in your upper right abdomen that does not go away with painkillers, go to your nearest clinic or hospital right away.
- If you notice yellowing of your skin or the whites of your eyes (jaundice), go to your nearest clinic or hospital soon.
- If you experience severe itching all over your body, go to your nearest clinic or hospital soon.
- If you have difficulty breathing or feel like you are going to pass out, go to your nearest clinic or hospital immediately.
