How to take this drug

Adults usually start with 600 mg daily, split into two doses (morning and night), and your doctor may gradually increase it up to 1,000–2,000 mg daily depending on how you respond. Take it with or after food to reduce stomach upset. Swallow the tablets whole — do not crush or chew enteric-coated tablets like Epinnom 200. Your doctor will determine your exact dose, so follow their instructions carefully.

What if I Miss a Dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for it. Try to set an alarm so you don't forget — taking this drug regularly is very important to prevent seizures.
