How to take this drug

For adults, take 1-2 tablets every 4-6 hours as needed, but do not take more than 8 tablets in 24 hours. If it is a syrup like Khairakid Cold and Catarrh Syrup, follow the dosage on the pack. You can take it with or without food. Note that this drug can make you feel sleepy, so avoid driving or operating machines after taking it.

What if I Miss a Dose?

Since this drug is usually taken only when you have symptoms, there is no strict schedule. If you forget a dose, take it when you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, just skip the missed one. Never double up to make up for a missed dose.

What to watch out for

Do not combine this with other cold and flu medicines that already contain paracetamol — many Nigerian cold remedies have paracetamol in them, so check the label to avoid overdose. This drug causes drowsiness, so avoid driving okada, danfo, or any vehicle after taking it.
