Who is this for?
This is a combination drug containing Montelukast (which blocks chemicals that cause swelling and tightening in your airways) and Levocetirizine (an antihistamine that blocks the chemical your body releases during allergic reactions). Together, they work to relieve allergy symptoms and help you breathe more easily.
Blocks cysteinyl leukotriene receptors (CysLT1) to inhibit bronchoconstriction and inflammatory cell recruitment, while simultaneously antagonizing H1 histamine receptors to suppress histamine-mediated vasodilation, pruritus, and allergic symptoms.

Adults typically take one tablet (Montelukast 10 mg + Levocetirizine 5 mg) once daily in the evening. You can take it with or without food, but taking it at the same time every day works best. Swallow the tablet whole with water.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, just skip the missed one and continue as normal. Do not take two doses at once to make up for it.
Buy only from licensed pharmacies — do not purchase from roadside vendors or unregistered sellers, as fake versions of this drug exist in Nigeria. Watch out for mood changes or unusual behavior especially in children and teenagers — report to your doctor immediately. This drug may make you drowsy, so avoid driving okada, keke, or operating heavy machinery until you know how it affects you.
Avoid drinking alcohol while taking this drug as it can make you very drowsy and dizzy. If you are taking phenobarbital or rifampicin (commonly used for TB treatment in Nigeria), tell your doctor as they can reduce how well Montelukast works. Inform your doctor if you are taking any sleeping pills or other allergy medications to avoid doubling up on drowsiness.
