This is a combination of two medicines, Mifepristone and Misoprostol, that work together to end an early pregnancy. Mifepristone blocks the hormone progesterone that the pregnancy needs to continue, while Misoprostol causes the womb to contract and push out the pregnancy tissue.
Blocks progesterone receptors to inhibit endometrial proliferation and induce decidual breakdown, while misoprostol activates prostaglandin E1 receptors to increase uterine contractions and cervical dilation, together terminating early pregnancy.
Medical termination of early pregnancy (usually up to 9 weeks or 63 days from the last menstrual period)

This is not a daily medication; it is taken as a specific two-step process. If you miss the second step (Misoprostol), contact your doctor immediately for guidance. Do not delay the second step beyond what your doctor instructed.
