This is a combination vaccine (sometimes sold as Priorix Tetra in Nigeria) that protects against four diseases at once: measles, mumps, rubella (German measles), and chickenpox (varicella). It works by giving your body a small, weakened form of each virus so your immune system learns to fight them without you getting sick.
Activates humoral and cell-mediated immune responses by introducing live attenuated viruses that replicate in host tissues, stimulating B-lymphocyte production of neutralizing antibodies and T-lymphocyte-mediated immunity against measles, mumps, rubella, and varicella viruses without causing disease.

If your child or you missed the second dose, go back to the clinic as soon as possible to get it. You do not need to restart the vaccination, just pick up from where you stopped. The sooner you complete it, the better the protection.

Make sure your child's immunization card is properly filled and keep it safe. This vaccine is stored by health workers in special refrigerators (cold chain). You do not need to store it at home. Make sure you receive your vaccine from a proper hospital, clinic, or government immunization centre where they keep vaccines cold, not from roadside vendors or unregistered shops.
