Who is this for?
Latanoprost/Timolol is a combination eye drop that contains two medicines working together to reduce pressure inside the eye. Latanoprost helps fluid drain out of the eye more easily, while Timolol reduces the amount of fluid the eye produces, and together they lower eye pressure better than either one alone.
Activates prostaglandin F (FP) receptors to increase uveoscleral outflow of aqueous humour, while timolol blocks beta-1 and beta-2 adrenergic receptors to decrease aqueous humour production; the combination reduces intraocular pressure through dual mechanisms.

If you forget a dose, just put in one drop as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue with your regular schedule. Never put in two drops to make up for a missed dose.
Only buy from registered pharmacies; do not purchase eye drops from roadside vendors or open markets, as fake or expired products can damage your eyes. Do not share your eye drops with anyone else, even if they have similar eye problems. If you notice your eye colour changing or your eyelashes growing unevenly, inform your eye doctor, as this is a known effect of the medicine and not necessarily dangerous, but your doctor should know.
Beta-blocker tablets (like atenolol or propranolol used for blood pressure or heart problems) can cause your heart rate and blood pressure to drop too low when used together with this eye drop. Other eye drops: wait at least 5 minutes between different eye drops so they don't wash each other out. Calcium channel blockers like amlodipine may increase the blood pressure-lowering effect when combined with this medicine.

This medicine is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, so speak to your doctor before using it if you are pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or nursing a baby.
Store unopened bottles in a refrigerator if possible, but once opened, keep at room temperature below 25°C. Protect from direct sunlight and heat, so do not leave it in a hot car or near a window. Keep the bottle tightly closed and away from children. Discard the bottle 4 weeks after opening.
