How to take this drug

This drug is NOT taken at home by yourself. It is given as an intravenous infusion (a slow drip into your vein) by a doctor or nurse in a hospital or cancer treatment centre. The dose depends on your body size and the type of cancer being treated. Your oncologist (cancer doctor) will determine the exact dose and schedule, usually given once a week for a set number of weeks.

What to watch out for
