This is a combination supplement containing iron (ferrous fumarate), folic acid, vitamin B12, vitamin C, and zinc — all working together to help your body build healthy red blood cells, fight anaemia, and boost your immune system. The vitamin C helps your body absorb the iron better.
Replenishes essential micronutrients required for erythropoiesis: ferrous fumarate provides bioavailable iron for haemoglobin synthesis; folic acid and vitamin B12 facilitate DNA synthesis and erythrocyte maturation; vitamin C enhances iron absorption by reducing ferric to ferrous iron; zinc activates metalloproteins involved in immune function and cellular growth.

Adults typically take 1 capsule once or twice daily, preferably with food or after meals to reduce stomach upset. Swallow the capsule whole with a full glass of water. Avoid taking it with tea, coffee, or milk as these can reduce iron absorption. Known in Nigeria as Nurifer Capsules.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Do not take two capsules at once to make up for the missed dose.
Buy only from reputable pharmacies — avoid roadside sellers or open market drugs, as fake supplements are common in Nigeria. Do not take more than the recommended dose thinking it will build your blood faster, as too much iron can be dangerous. If your tiredness or weakness does not improve after a few weeks, see a doctor to check for other causes of low blood.
Avoid taking this supplement at the same time as antacids (like aluminium or magnesium-based drugs) or tetracycline/ciprofloxacin antibiotics — space them at least 2 hours apart. Tea, coffee, and dairy products (milk, yoghurt) can reduce how well your body absorbs the iron, so avoid them around the time you take your dose.
