This is a blood-building tonic (like Bunto Blood Tonic) that combines iron, B-vitamins, folic acid, zinc, copper, and other nutrients to help your body produce healthy red blood cells and fight tiredness caused by low blood levels.
Replenishes iron stores and essential cofactors for haemoglobin synthesis; ferric ammonium citrate provides bioavailable iron for incorporation into haem, while B vitamins (B1, B2, B6, B12, folate, nicotinamide) and trace elements (zinc, copper) serve as critical enzyme cofactors in erythropoiesis, amino acid metabolism, and mitochondrial energy production, thereby restoring oxygen-carrying capacity and reversing anaemia-associated symptoms.

For adults, take one to two tablespoonfuls (15-30ml) two to three times daily, or as directed on the product label. It is best taken after meals to reduce stomach upset. Shake the bottle well before use if it is a liquid tonic.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, just skip the missed one and continue as normal. Do not double up to make up for a missed dose.
Always buy from a registered pharmacy — avoid blood tonics sold by roadside vendors or market sellers as they may be fake or expired. Do not take more than the recommended dose thinking it will build your blood faster — too much iron can be harmful. If you have been diagnosed with sickle cell disease, speak with your doctor before using any blood tonic.
Do not take this tonic at the same time as tetracycline or ciprofloxacin antibiotics — the iron can stop them from working properly, so space them at least 2 hours apart. Antacids (like aluminium or magnesium-containing drugs) can reduce iron absorption, so avoid taking them together. Tea, coffee, and milk can also reduce how well your body absorbs the iron in this tonic.
