How to take this drug

Apply a thin layer of the cream to the affected skin area 2 to 3 times daily. Gently rub it in. Wash and dry the area before applying. Use it for the number of days your doctor or pharmacist recommends — usually 2 to 4 weeks. Do not use it for longer than prescribed.

What if I Miss a Dose?

If you forget to apply the cream, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for the next application, just skip the missed one and continue as normal. Do not apply a double amount to make up for it.

Important for antibiotics

Always complete the full course even if you feel better. Stopping early can cause the infection to return and become drug-resistant.

What to watch out for

Do not use Tricuten Cream as a bleaching or toning cream — this is very common in Nigeria and can permanently damage your skin. Complete the full course of treatment even if your skin looks better, otherwise the infection can come back stronger. Buy only from licensed pharmacies, not from market sellers or roadside vendors, to avoid fake products.
