This is a combination tablet containing two diabetes medicines, dapagliflozin and metformin, that work together to lower blood sugar. Dapagliflozin helps your kidneys remove excess sugar through urine, while metformin reduces the amount of sugar your liver produces and helps your body use insulin better.
Inhibits sodium-glucose cotransporter 2 (SGLT2) in the renal proximal tubule, promoting urinary glucose excretion, while metformin reduces hepatic glucose production and improves peripheral insulin sensitivity through activation of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK).

If you miss a dose and it is close to your next dose time, skip the missed one and take the next dose as normal. Do not take two tablets at once to make up for the missed dose.
