This is a combination cream that contains three active ingredients: clotrimazole (an antifungal that kills fungus), betamethasone dipropionate (a steroid that reduces swelling, redness, and itching), and neomycin sulphate (an antibiotic that fights bacteria). Together, they treat skin infections where fungus, bacteria, and inflammation are all present at the same time.
Inhibits fungal cell membrane ergosterol synthesis (clotrimazole), suppresses inflammatory cytokine production and immune response via glucocorticoid receptor activation (betamethasone dipropionate), and inhibits bacterial protein synthesis by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit (neomycin sulphate), providing combined antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial action.

If you forget to apply the cream, apply it as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next application, just skip the missed one and continue as normal. Do not apply double the amount to make up for the missed dose.
Important for antibiotics
Always complete the full course even if you feel better. Stopping early can cause the infection to return and become drug-resistant.
Do not use this cream to bleach or lighten your skin, as it contains a strong steroid that will damage your skin over time, causing thinning, stretch marks, and making your skin dependent on it. Buy only from licensed pharmacies and not from roadside sellers or market stalls, as fake creams are common in Nigeria. Do not share this cream with others, even if their skin problem looks similar to yours, as they need to see a doctor for proper diagnosis.
Avoid using other steroid creams or skin products on the same area at the same time, as this can increase the risk of skin thinning and side effects. Do not combine with other antibiotics applied to the skin without your doctor's advice. If you are taking any medicine that affects your kidneys, let your doctor know because neomycin can affect kidney function if absorbed through broken skin.
