This is a combination drug containing two medicines — Ciprofloxacin (an antibiotic) and Tinidazole (which kills certain bacteria and parasites). Together, they fight a wide range of infections by stopping harmful bacteria and parasites from growing in your body.

Adults usually take 1 tablet twice daily (morning and evening) for 5 to 7 days, depending on the infection. Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. You can take it with or without food, but taking it with food may reduce stomach upset. Do not crush or chew the tablet.
If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. But if it's almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one and continue your normal schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the one you missed.

Do not drink alcohol while taking this drug — mixing Tinidazole with alcohol can cause severe nausea, vomiting, and stomach cramps. Avoid taking antacids, multivitamins, or iron supplements at the same time as this drug because they reduce its effectiveness — take them at least 2 hours apart. Be careful if you are taking blood thinners like warfarin, as this combination can increase the risk of bleeding.
