Chlorhexidine Digluconate is an antiseptic (germ-killing) solution that works by destroying bacteria and other germs on the skin, gums, and wounds, preventing infections from spreading.
Binds to bacterial cell membranes and intracellular structures, disrupting membrane integrity and causing leakage of cellular contents, resulting in rapid bactericidal and fungicidal activity against a broad spectrum of microorganisms.

If you forget to use it, apply or rinse as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next use, just skip the missed one and continue your normal routine. Do not double up to make up for the missed dose.

If you notice unusual tooth staining, your dentist can clean it off, but do not stop using it without asking your doctor first. Do not swallow the mouth rinse; if a child accidentally swallows a large amount, take them to the hospital immediately.
Do not use chlorhexidine mouth rinse immediately after brushing with regular toothpaste, as some toothpaste ingredients can reduce its effectiveness; wait at least 30 minutes.
