How to take this drug

For adults, the treatment is usually taken as a single dose of sulfadoxine/pyrimethamine (3 tablets of 500mg/25mg) alongside amodiaquine taken once daily for 3 days. Take with food or after eating to reduce stomach upset. Dissolve the dispersible tablets in a small amount of clean water before swallowing. What if I Miss a Dose?

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember on the same day. If it is already time for the next day's dose, skip the missed one and continue with the remaining schedule. Do not take a double dose to make up for the one you missed.
